Are you also still obsessed with metal hair cuffs which we’ve first seen at Dries Van Noten Fall 2011? Luckily I was able to get one from H&M after watching out for them quite a few months. The hair cuffs are always sold out. There are still some available on Ebay though!

Today I’m sharing my daily skin care routine with you guys because I’m totally satisfied with it. I used to try a lot of different products but nothing ever really pleased me.

Weeks ago when I was complaining about my skin my sister told me to start using Dermalogica. She uses their products for a long time now and is completely convinced of them. That’s why the next day we went to one of their counters where my skin got examined, they call it ‘face mapping’ there.

As the products are quite expensive (at least here in Europe) I’ve bought following 4 basis products.

#1 PRECLEANSE

This oil removes all of my make-up, even eye make-up.

#2 SPECIAL CLEANSING GEL

I mean it when I say this is the best face wash.

#3 MULTI-ACTIVE TONER

Makes my skin feel refreshed and hydrated.

#4 SKIN SMOOTHING CREAM

This cream is my favorite amongst all products. My skin never felt so smooth. I apply it every morning and evening.

I don’t get any money from Dermalogica for this post if anybody wonders. I’m just convinced of the products and can recommend them as I really see and feel my skin improving.

She looks great, right? As soon as I spotted Jayma Mays wearing this beautiful jacket I had to know where it was from. And I did my research…it’s Alice+Olivia and you can buy it HERE or HERE. Wish it could become my new spring jacket! Sigh!!!

Received the cutest matroyshka dolls from a friend. Using them as jewelry storage now!

Lots lots of good food this weekend. Today I prepared breakfast for my family and baked some delicious muffins with bacon & eggs!

Fell in love with this cream blazer but 120 Euros were kind of too much for a Zara piece

My friend Virginia is finally back home from her South America trip. She brought me a cozy & warm alpaca pullover as a souvenir. Thank you!!!

A few days ago I got a call from a good friend. Her words were exactly “come to the city…fast…shoe sale…additional 70% off”. This said she just hung up again.

Every fashionista’s heart would immediately start beating faster so that I hurried up to get to that department store. When I finally arrived there, they were still waiting for me!!! My new miu miu sandals. It was a SUPER SUPER sale. They were already greatly reduced and when they took off the additional 70% I felt they were actually for FREE!

And now they are waiting for better weather to make their first appearance!

I’m pretty sure nearly everyone came across these Dries Van Noten jeans last year! Inspiration for many many DIY’s!

Zara is coming with its own version now. I know that it’s not Dries Van Noten and the cut is also different.

But do we still tie-dye our jeans in 2012? What do you say?

- Liked a few pieces from the Spring/Summer 2012 lookbook of the German label Strenesse Blue. I’m especially in love with the blue suit!

- Yesterday I recognized that I’ve N-E-V-E-R worn these Zara sandals. But I still remember how much I wanted them. Such a shame!

- Lots of tangerine on my nails/lips these days (though the lipstick doesn’t look very tangerine here)

- My sisters and I used to go running a lot last year. The past few months we blamed the early darkness for not “moving” anymore. Now we put an end to this excuse with ultra cool headlamps.

- The hunt for the PERFECT parka has finally come to an end. Thanks to my birthday, a gorgeous sale and Yves Salomon!

Hi, this is Virginia. I’m doing the work behind this blog with Dani.

Actually I never wanted to appear on the blog but Dani asked me to write a
post about my journey and so here I am sharing some impressions with you! :)
Since July I’m travelling through South America. My journey started in Córdoba, Argentina where I stayed 4 months long to study.
Right now I’m in Brazil on the beautiful island “ilha Grande” and hence “fresh” off the Bolivian jungle. I’m going to spend two more weeks in Brazil and will catch my
flight back home from Rio de Janeiro.
I visited many places, met a lot of great people and saw how wonderful and outstanding nature can be.

Next stop: The Beach. Have a lovely Sunday everyone, what are you up to around the world? Still snow and cold where you are? Sending you my warmest thoughts from the beach today, “marinated” in the beautiful flavor of caipirinhas of course.

I have to share these two great books with you which I just got last week!

100 Unforgettable Dresses is a beautiful gallery filled with pictures of memorable red carpet moments, looks from runways, movies and much more. I’ve already browsed through this book many many times. It kind of makes my heart beat.

Hal Vaughan’s book “Sleeping with the enemy” about Coco Chanel is not about style or design at all! It’s about the icon’s activities during World War II. I wanted to read it since it has been published - also because of its good reviews. Has anyone of you already read it?
